Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl cherished the book Bat Ayin. According to tradition, it remained on his table and was studied with affection.
Protecting the Book
It is told that a police officer sought to confiscate the book, claiming it lacked a censorship permit. Rabbi Aharon took it back into his hands and ensured its protection. The account appears in the writings of Rabbi Y. Shub and in Ma'amar Mordechai, alongside his praise for the author's Torah.
