A Commitment Inspired by a Sermon
On Shabbat of Parashat Bereishit, her brother heard a synagogue sermon mention the practice of studying Bat Ayin and praying for a suitable marriage in the merit of that study. The words touched him, and he undertook regular study of the book while praying for his sister's deliverance.
According to the family, even before he began the study schedule, a joyful turn occurred: during Parashat Lech Lecha, only about two weeks after his decision, his sister became engaged.
Study Continued in Gratitude
The brother continued to fulfill his commitment with joy and gratitude. After the years of waiting, the family found great encouragement in the close timing and felt that the positive commitment and prayer had accompanied the deliverance.
